Lori Ann Hill

Lori Ann Hill was born on November 9, 1970. She was brutally beaten to death on October 25, 1985.

The last time Lori was last seen, she was walking on the bridge above the 80-90 turnpike (otherwise known as Hallett Road), which heads out of Swanton, Ohio. This was on Friday, October 24, 1985 at approximately 10:00 p.m. She was coming from an after football game rally for the Swanton High School Bulldogs where she had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend was cleared as a suspect in her murder.

An acquaintance named Steve saw Lori walking to Mr. G.'s Pizza Parlor on Main Street next to the railroad tracks (it is no longer Mr. G's although it is still operating as a pizza parlor) in Swanton, Ohio, and gave her a ride. At Mr. G's, she made two phone calls and then started to walk home. It is not known who Lori called. (Steve was eliminated as a suspect). The last time Lori was seen was walking out of Mr. G's at 10:00 p.m. It is assumed that Lori was walking home from Mr.G's which is an approximate 7 mile walk. She had to pass Hubs Bar on the way home.

When last seen, Lori was wearing a jean jacket over a white tee shirt, blue jeans, and tan gravity boots.

Lori Ann Hill was found on Tuesday, October 28, 1985 in a corn field on Co. Rd. M at 12-5 mile, Fulton County, Wauseon, Ohio. Her naked and badly beaten body was found with a jean jacket and two socks by a deer hunter.

Lori had shoulder length blonde hair, blue eyes, and braces. She was 5' 10" tall and 140 pounds.

There is a $50,000.00 reward for the arrest and conviction of any and all persons responsible for the murder of this 14 year old child.

Lori was an incredibly happy person who thoroughly enjoyed life. She is missed by all her family.
